Well im back for another post. These blogs are what are keeping my hands full. But this can be fun at times. you just have to find some things to writhe about. What is there to talk about. not much really, I can go on about how live sucks, but there are like millions of pages on how life sucks. Oh! I know what sucks! how the fact that there was about to be a street fighter vs mortal kombat, but from what someone had told me, capcom had pulled out because they were coming out with sf2 hd remix and sf4. Now the sf 4 has been anticipated, for a while, Imean people really have been watching out for this game, and rightfully so, I mean come on its street fighter. But why in the hell are you going to turn down probably what could have been the greatest videogame crossover in history. I mean I dont understand. And the reason the guy told me why one of the reasons why they pulled out of the "beyond legendary crossover" is the fact that they were not only working not only on sf4, but sf2 HD remix. Now, I have respect for sf2, I mean I was more of a mortal kombat and snk fan growing up, but I still have a lot of respect for sf2. even though I had always got my ass kicked by the assholes that I played sf2 with, I still had respect for sf2. But I would rather see the characters of mortal kombat trade blows with the characters from street fighter, than see another street fighter 2 clone! And its not like they couldn't have made HD remix, like they could have made it a little more down the line like maybe a year after Street fighter vs Mortal Kombat. this is how I think they should have done it.
First they should have made SF4, then they should have crossed over mortal kombat vs street fighter, then bring in HD remix. So in that way the fans get the game that could have been one of the all time greats. And people could say that they could remember the great crossover between SF and MK,but no. Instead we have mortal kombat crossing over with the most unlikely of franchises, DC COMICS. Now dont get me wrong, I love the D.C. characters (of course the main characters that most people know about dc comics are superman, batman, wonder woman, the flash, and the green lantern) its just that they have nothing in common with Mortal Kombat. I mean there the polar opposite of each other. The only character from DC that has in common with MK characters is batman and lobo because of there dark personalities. But mortal kombat is based off of a Martial arts tournament, just like street fighter. And most of the characters are based off of people from popular culture, Liu kang=bruce lee, kano=the terminator, raiden=the lighting guys from big trouble in little china, and sonya blade is based off of some lady named cynthia rothrock. Yeah I dont know who she is. The funny thing is that I could see Mortal Kombat crossing over with other franchises. Like Namco, killer instinct, eternal champions, or any other fighting game I failed to mentioned that have something in common with mk. And yes I know that eternal champions and killer instinct have stopped making games for there series', Its just that they have alot in common with mortal kombat(Specifically the characters and the feel and the mood of the games). But the main thing that people are bothered about is that the fact that there are no fatalities in the game.Thats what made mortal kombat so famous. I mean yeah the graphics at the time were somewhat cutting edge at the time, but MK was mainly known for its fatalities and addictive gameplay(its not like MK vs DC wont have addictive gameplay. It might. It might not). But it would be kind of funny is you saw superman get a fatalitied. I mean dont get me wrong. I cant dismiss the game before the game is released. I mean its two things that people like and there trying to put them together. I mean it was a little strange when they first crossed street fighter and the x-men, but then it turned out to be a instant classic. But will it be the same as saying it for MK vs DC? Only time will tell, but its just kind of frustrating when you have two of the most legendary fighting games in video game history so close to being in the same game(that is non-mugen and is licenced based by both midway and capcom) and then just called off . Sad.Very very sad. So much potential to be "BEYOND LEGENDARY" and then its just called off like that. Depressing. But whatever.
Well thats all I have to say for today. Oh crap, I forgot to say that I saw Iron Man today. I liked the movie. I liked the movie because not only did it have great action sequences but you got to know the characters well. It got really into the characters backstories. And it had alot of humor with the movie. There were alot of funny parts in the movie. But yeah I liked it. I wouldn't mind seeing it again. Well thats all I have to say for today. Goodbye.

I should do more on this blog
Hey hey hey, Itsa me blixigboy. Life has been really boring. What's to talk about. The economy is trash. Illegal immigrants are taking are jobs every day. gas prices are through the roof. yes there is nothing to talk about. Today I saw the movie "Deception " starring Hugh Jackman,Ewan Macgregor, and Michelle Williams. I'm not really big on reviewing movies because I don't feel comfortable sometimes critizinig peoples work. But I can review something for once. Not really a review because I don't really consider myself a reviewer. More like an opinion.
BUT JUST TO WARN YOU THE PARAGRAPH BELOW CONTAINS SPOILERS. So to read my opinion read the paragraph below that.
The movie is basically about this guy that is played by the name of Jonathon Mcquarry. It seems to be that Jonathon Mcquarry (ewan macgregor) seems to feel alone when It comes to love, this is apperant at the beginning of the movie when he see's the guy and the girl janitor go inside of the bathroom smiling and... he's sitting there working and then Wyatt bowes (Hugh Jackman).they start and then they eventually become close friends. Wyatt and Jonathan get to know each other and then I forget how it happend but he gave him a phone. He soon finds out that the phone is to meet beautiful woman and to go to hotels to have sex with them. Now before he started having sex with all of these woman, he had met a woman on a subway train by the name of "S" (Michelle Williams). He talked to her a little and they seemed to hit it off well. She walked of the subway train and he regreted not going after her and trying to make something of there encounter. But then he meets up with "S" again on the "special" phone. It is then that Jonathon wants to have a close relationship with S. It is then when one night that In a hotel in Chinatown that he is attacked in his hotel room. He wakes up to find that the woman of his dreams is gone and his he soon finds out that his "friend" is a conman names Jamie Getz. Getz says that he is to help him get over 20 million dollars or the love of Jonathon's life (S) will be murdered. He proves this by a woman he had sex with at a hotel at the beginning of the movie. He then helps get the money for getz by briefly joining a company and giving him passwords to some accounts to wire the money to a bank account in Spain. after wiring the money to the accounts then heads back to his apartment but to find that in a picture that getz showed him of S being held hostage that he sent him that they used Jonathon's apartment, not some random room far away.He catches on to what happens. The apartment explodes by a gas leak that was made by getz. then follows getz and S to spain. Getz cant get the money with out the co-signer which is mcquarry. They set up a deal where Getz splits the money at the bank with Mcquarry with the money and the leave with there share. Mcquarry wants to make another deal with getz and want to know were S is. But getz being the lowlife that he is, he decides to kill mcquarry to get the rest of the money, but S being the moraly correct person that she is, she shoots getz to save Jonathon because all along, she was in love with him as well. At first, the ending seemed to be that they were going separate ways, but then again, they meet up and then they live happily ever after.
Now for my opinion (finally)
For me, I liked the movie. It wasn't totally bad, it's just that it just didn't leave a lasting impact on me. I mean there are worse movies out there, its just that it dosent feel like an original movie or seem to be unique in any way. The best part how the movie was made was the camera angles and the fact that they have good actors in this film. I liked the mood and the feel of the movie. The lighting and the angles really brang out the emotion of the characters in the film, but then again there good actors. The reason why I didn't feel the movie was original is because this movie is very similar story wise to the 2005 movie Derailed Starring Clive Owen,Jennifer Aniston,RZA,and Vincent Cassel(the french thief from Ocean's Twelve and Thirteen). The movie is very similar by way of the fact of that there about a guy who is attracted to some random he found on the street and she turns out to be scamming him or she is working with some douchebag that shes doing to screw him over for money. And the fact that they both go to hotels somewere to sleep with each other and while at the hotel were they gets attacked and were made to believe that the woman they slept with was harmed in some way. I mean the story lines are somewhat different, like Ewan's character is a lonely businessman who lives by himself in an apartment but has this phone where he can meet beautiful woman he sleeps with, while Clive Owen's character lives in a nice house with his wife and daughter who has diabetes and is struggling with her condition and Clive is just sleeping with Jennifer Aniston. And Ewan's character doesn't have someone to watch his back like Clive Owen has RZA helping him. I mean the story lines arent identical with each other but if you watch one of the movies first and you watch the other, you would see the similarities. Between the two movies I would say that I like both movies but I would say that Derailed is better than Deception. Not saying that I dont like Deception, Its just that it Derailed feels more of a thriller and deception feels more of emotion. I guess it depends on what type of movie you like to watch.
But anyways that's all I have to say about the movie. And that is all I have to say for this post.
I'll be back this week more likely. Probably.
